Job Description

A staff position based in the USA reporting to the Editor in London writing daily news and features as directed.

Resonsibilities -
Being fully immersed in US and international current affairs, reading and researching widely and applying a keen, questioning, philosophical intelligence to the big underlying issues of
the day. Providing daily ideas for stories and features to the Editor. Attending up to one daily meeting on Skype to discuss ideas. Being on call permanently if required to cover big breaking news stories. Writing with utmost clarity and good style daily and delivering
polished copy that requires little or no editing to exacting deadlines. Taking a lively interest in the broader mission of the company to change the world for the better and contributing ideas
and energy to that effort.

Skills & experience-
A top level degree or equivalent, a very wide field of knowledge, an engaging personality and a proven ability to think clearly and interestingly. The most important skill is the ability to
write lucid and stylish English prose swiftly to deadlines.
