Job Description

WomansDay.com and CountryLiving.com (the companion sites to Woman’s Day Magazine and Country Living Magazine) are looking for talented, detail-oriented editorial interns to brainstorm and pitch story ideas, assist with the day-to-day editorial duties, and write alongside our small staff this summer (Mid-May to Late August). Ideal candidates have blogged, interned at a website or magazine, and/or worked on a college publication. They’re also excellent writers and researchers with a genuine interest in women’s lifestyle topics. Our interns write blog posts, build stories in our CMS, update SEO galleries, help manage social media accounts, and provide editorial support to our web editors. In addition to payment, college credit is optional, but preference will be given to students who have already graduated and are looking for a FT paid internship. For students, please specify which days you can work in your cover letter. Interviews will be conducted at the beginning of March in our Midtown Manhattan office, and/or over the phone. Deadline: 2/28
