Job Description

Rachael Ray Every Day magazine (RachaelRayMag.com) is seeking a part-time editorial intern for the Fall 2018 semester. We’re looking for a hard-working, organized, digitally-savvy intern with an interest in food and lifestyle content who wants to learn how a magazine operates from the ground up. Candidates should be strong writers studying journalism, communications, English, or another related field.

The intern will:
• Pitch and write stories for RachaelRayMag.com, including original food and lifestyle news stories, recipe roundups, shopping stories, and more
• Assist the Lifestyle Editor with various tasks such as calling in product, tracking samples and credit sheets, and attending press events
• Assist the Editorial Assistant with admin tasks such as cataloguing new food products for the Checkout column
