Paid Journalism Internship
Media Organization: BREAKER Magazine
BREAKER is a startup staffed by experienced journalists, formerly of Fast Company, WSJ, New York Magazine, Los Angeles Magazine, Rolling Stone, and others. We're dedicated to improving journalism about blockchain technology, focusing on people, ideas, and news with a POV.
BREAKER, a new site dedicated to original reporting about the people and ideas of blockchain, has an opening for an intern starting this January. We’re looking for a young journalist who’s curious about technology and hungry to build their portfolio of writing clips. The world of blockchain—full of innovators, scammers, and larger-than-life characters—has much to cover.
As BREAKER’s intern, you will be asked to write short day-of news posts, proofread stories, find photos, and help out with social media. There are also opportunities to branch out with longer features.
We’re looking for someone to work 16 hours a week at our office in the South Street Seaport area of Manhattan. We can pay $15 an hour.
Please email Julia Herbst (email@example.com) with a short resume and some writing clips. Also check out our breakermag.com, including our recent hit about an infamous blockchain cruise.
