Job Description

The New York Applied Innovation Exchange of Capgemini is looking for a writer to cover our tech events. A couple of times a month we feature a topic on technology and/or innovation in which we feature a live interview, a speaker, or panel. We want to capture the exchange of ideas so that we can create original editorial content that can be used by our executives on LinkedIn, Twitter and other outlets.

The pay is $20/hr to $35/hr.

Looking for an individual who is tech-savvy and can understand the vernacular associated with artificial intelligence, start-ups, digital (i.e., cloud, SaaS, data, analytics, social, etc). Candidate will need to have standard journalist’s writing and investigation skills. In addition to covering the events, we expect the writer to follow-up with our experts for clarification and, potentially, additional research.
The editorial pieces will be 750 words or less and likely broken into multiple sections that can be “published” separately.
