Job Description

HealthiNation, a leading creator of health and wellness videos, is growing fast and seeking multi-media content developers to join our terrific team. The ideal Health Writer candidate will have experience creating digital consumer health and medical content, writing under tight deadlines; experience editing video is a big plus. The selected candidate will perform health/medical research and create content that informs, educates, and drives health and wellness outcomes for consumers across the health spectrum. They will collaborate with a team of producers, editors, medical advisers, and reviewers, and may work remotely with regular visits to our New York City headquarters in the future.

Responsibilities:
Write medically-accurate articles and video scripts under tight, daily deadlines
Build and publish content on our CMS platform (WordPress and JW Player experience helpful)
Prepare interview questions and talking points for video shoots with medical experts
Transcribe videos accurately according to current health literacy standards
Execute against brand standards for style, tone, health literacy, and medical accuracy
Attend production meetings and contribute to content brainstorming and problem solving
Support all operational and organizational tasks
Rough cut video interviews

Qualifications:
Experience researching and writing health and medical content for a digital brand
Strong working knowledge of Google Docs, WordPress, Adobe Premiere, and the Microsoft Office Suite
Ability to complete rough-cut editing on Adobe Premiere
General understanding of SEO principals and strategies
