Job Description

Salon.com is seeking an editorial intern for the summer 2021 semester to join our team.

Interns are an important part of Salon’s daily editorial operations. They work closely with Salon staff to research, report, write and produce our news and culture coverage. They also learn about the day-to-day workings of an award-winning online news and entertainment site. Many Salon interns have gone on to jobs in the media, including Rolling Stone, The New York Times, Elle, CNN and, of course, Salon.

Our internship requires a time commitment of roughly 12 hours per week, with a flexible schedule. Due to COVID-19, this is a remote-based position with tentative office hours to be determined. This internship is for college credit. Some professional experience is required.
