Job Description

Our team at Foundry 360 at Dotdash Meredith is looking for an experienced financial editor to work on custom content in all formats for several banking clients. This is a long-term, 40 hour/week contract gig. In this role, you'll write, assign, edit, work with the art department to create new (and update existing) digital articles, videos — any format, really, even print — for several large financial services clients. In addition, you'll handle some administrative tasks such as invoicing and onboarding freelancers into the payroll system.

Must-have attributes: deft and graceful writer; in love with getting details right; ability to consistently (and cheerfully) juggle multiple pieces of content with multiple deadlines; strong project management skills; adept at working both independently and as part of a collaborative team. Ideally, you also have knowledge of financial topics such as investing, retirement planning, and business banking and take keen pleasure in translating complex financial topics for both a consumer and B2B audience. This could be a remote job, but will need to be on East Coast working hours. Willingness to come in to the Manhattan office a plus (if vaccinated).
