Media Organization: Saving Land Magazine
Based in Washington, D.C., the Land Trust Alliance is a national land conservation organization that represents more than 950 member land trusts and their 6.4 million supporters nationwide. The Alliance is the voice of the land trust community. As the national leader in policy, standards, education and training, we work passionately to support land trusts so they can save and secure more lands now and for future generations.
Interested in writing about conservation for a national magazine focused on land trusts? We offer assignment-based work to write feature stories (1,800 words) or columns (1,000-1,500 words) for Saving Land magazine, a 40-page, full-color quarterly magazine that goes to approximately 4,000 members and supporters of the Land Trust Alliance. Topics range from conservation and stewardship to fundraising and policy to operations and board management, and everything in between. We pay $1 per word.
