Job Description

Are you interested in becoming a reporter? Are you looking to build your portfolio and overall experience in journalism out of the classroom and in the real world? Then we have the opportunity for you!
amNewYork Metro and amNY.com are seeking interns for the summer to join our editorial staff! You'll work with our team of reporters and editors to research articles, plan special features and draft stories. Many local students have been part of our team in the past, and we're looking for the next generation of young reporters excited about journalism and passionate about writing.
Our interns are enthusiastic about local news; are majoring in journalism, communications, English, history or a related field; have excellent writing and communication skills; and have extensive knowledge of communicating on social media. Knowledge of audio and video editing software is a plus.
