Position: Science and Health Journalist/Reporter Intern
Location: Remote
Duration: 3-6 months
Type: Part-time (10-20 hours/week)

Role Overview:
Tech Times is inviting ambitious, inquisitive, and talented individuals to apply for our Science and Health Journalist/Reporter Internship. This role provides a unique opportunity to explore the world of science and health journalism, contribute to impactful reporting, and enhance your storytelling skills in a digital news setting.

Key Responsibilities:

Research, write, and edit compelling news stories, features, and analysis pieces on science and health topics.
Keep abreast of the latest scientific research, health studies, and industry news to pitch relevant and timely article ideas.
Collaborate with scientists, health professionals, and industry experts for interviews and insights.
Work closely with the editorial team to ensure content is informative, accurate, and aligned with Tech Times' standards and voice.
Assist in content planning and contribute to brainstorming sessions for feature stories and special projects.
Help manage and grow our social media presence by promoting science and health content and engaging with our audience.

Qualifications:

Current enrollment in or recent graduation from a degree program in Journalism, Science Communication, Public Health, or a related field.
A strong passion for science, health, and technology with a commitment to factual and ethical reporting.
Excellent writing, editing, and communication skills, with the ability to translate complex scientific concepts into accessible language.
Proven ability to work independently, conduct thorough research, and meet deadlines.
Basic knowledge of digital publishing, SEO, and social media best practices is desirable.
Previous experience in journalism, content creation, or a related field is a plus, but not mandatory.
