Job Description
Family Style is seeking out editorial interns for the Summer term, starting mid April / beginning May and ending in August.
Responsibilities and requirements include:
● Strong fact-checking and copy writing abilities
● Experience with transcribing for interviews
● Research projects on writers, artists, photographers, etc.
● Supporting our team with key current and upcoming projects
● A proven ability to work quickly and efficiently with accuracy and attention to detail
This internship will provide writing opportunities for our digital platform, lessons in pitching, and experience using platforms such as WebFlow. There will also be workshops in fact checking, copywriting, and transcribing, though we do require some prior experience.
Interns will communicate directly with our editorial team, receiving one-on-one feedback from team members like: Joshua Glass (EIC), Meka Boyle (Articles Editor), Rachel Summer Small (Culture Editor), Treena Lombardo (Style Director), etc.
