Asians in Art is a podcast created by seasoned and award-winning journalists for a global audience. The show features in-depth interviews with Asian artists from around the world. Through warm and intimate conversations, the audio-visual podcast highlights the journeys of established and up-and-coming Asian creatives, including fine artists, filmmakers, musicians, authors, actors, chefs, designers, and vocalists.

Our podcast aims to serve as a platform for Asian artists’ stories that we hope will not only educate, but also inspire our audience and help create a sense of shared community.

Job Description

Internship Opportunity: Production Assistant for Asians in Art Podcast

We are looking for a motivated individual based in New York City who shares our passion to create community through art by telling the inspiring stories of global Asian creatives. Our podcast, which launched its first episode on October 27, 2025, requires a PA that can help with the following:

*Guest ideas
*Guest booking and pre-interviews
*Assisting at on-location and in-studio shoots in NYC
*Assisting with editing audio-visuals for a podcast, including short clips for promos.
*Assisting with promoting podcast episodes.

The candidate must be comfortable handling DSLRs, recording audio, and editing software, including Adobe Premiere.

Although this is an unpaid internship, this opportunity will provide you with valuable, educational, and real-world experience in producing a top-quality podcast with seasoned and award-winning international broadcast journalists.
