They will also help me come up with creative ideas and topics around new features to work on. The intern will be helping me create content for my next cookbook and creative brainstorming on topics to include. We will also work on an editorial calendar for the website, newsletter and social media.

V Magazine is seeking digital editorial interns for the Spring 2018 semester. Interns will write daily news stories for V Magazine and VMAN's websites, as well as have the opportunity to pitch and write feature stories. Intern duties also include transcribing interviews, updating boards and binders for print issues. Academic credit is required.

Our editorial internship gives students the opportunity to work closely with the editorial team, writing well-reported articles for our website, and news items that frequently end up in the print magazine. Interns will conduct interviews with important artists, curators, and educators in the glass art field. They will also assist in some administrative tasks to aid in the production cycle of the magazine.

An intern at News-O-Matic will be able to do much more than simple research. As part of a small News Room, each person can submit story ideas, suggestions for improved design and usability of the app, and contributions to social media. Previous interns have conducted interviews with world-famous athletes and world leaders and amassed a portfolio of impressive bylines.

It's a plus if you can edit images or video, translate into Spanish for English Language Learners, or help promote News-O-Matic through a range of social media avenues.

Interns are an important part of Salon’s daily editorial operations. They work closely with Salon staff to research, report, write and produce our news and culture coverage. They also learn about the day-to-day workings of an award-winning online news and entertainment site. Many Salon interns have gone on to jobs in the media, including Rolling Stone, The New York Times, Elle, CNN and, of course, Salon.
