Marie Claire Summer Features Internship

News Trainee

NK News is seeking a part-time Seoul-based, bilingual Korean / English news trainee for a part-time, three month period, starting in April or May 2017.

This will be a Seoul-based office position, meaning the trainee should be able to commute regularly to the company office in the city center.

The successful applicant will have the following skills/qualifications:
- Excellent written Korean and English (Korean proficiency is essential)
- Translation or writing experience, preferably in a news environment

Web Intern

Oprah.com is seeking a hard-working, web-savvy and enthusiastic web intern to join our staff for Summer 2017. This is a full-time, unpaid internship position. You must be able to work in our offices at least 4 days per week and be eligible to receive school credit. Duties will include production, photo research, market work, research for stories, social media, and brainstorming/pitching story ideas.

Applicants should be comfortable in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment. They should be diligent managers of their own time and not afraid to ask questions.

A passion for journalism and for women’s magazines in particular, as well as enthusiasm about exploring the many creative opportunities involved in web journalism, are essential. Writing experience and strong research skills are a must. Web experience is a plus, but not necessary. Additionally, a sense of humor and diverse interests are welcome.

Town & Country is looking for an intern to assist the features department this summer. Responsibilities include transcribing interviews, researching stories, cataloging our archives, maintaining our culture calendar database, and contributing to the website. TCG AMERICAN THEATRE MAGAZINE INTERNSHIP

As the national service organization for the not-for-profit professional theatre, TCG offers services in line with our mission: to strengthen, nurture, and promote the professional not-for-profit American theatre. TCG serves theatre artists and organizations by recognizing and encouraging activism, artistry, advocacy, and global citizenship. Intern will work closely with the staff of the magazine, assisting with a variety of editorial and administrative tasks such as fact checking, proofreading, photo research, and story planning, with the possibility of some writing assignments.
