Health Intern-Web

Paste Magazine (pastemagazine.com) is looking for interns for our Health section. Interns will produce content, manage social media accounts, write news items and pitch larger stories. Interns should have experience in journalism, either as a student or in the workforce. They should also have an interest in all things health, from fitness to food. Writing, fact-checking, photo-sourcing, and web story building are all big parts of the job and some experience is preferred -- along with a basic knowledge of HTML and CMS systems.

Interns can receive school credit and editors are happy to assist with that process. The internship is unpaid but interns will be paid for assigned stories -- after the first two. Interns will work directly with both Health editors. The work may be remote, but candidates should be based in NYC, as they may be required travel to the magazine's Manhattan office. The work will require about eight hours a week.

Summer:
Start date: April 24.
End date: September 1.

Fall:
Start: August 24
End: Dec. 15
