Fall Beauty & Health Intern

Fashion Closet Internship

ELLE Magazine is looking for fashion interns for the upcoming fall semester. Students will get the experience of interning for the fashion department of a leading publication and learning the ins and outs of what it takes to create the beautiful pages seen in the magazine.

Requirements
Must be able to work in a fast paced and professional environment. 
Must be able to receive school credit.
 Must be able to work a minimum of 2 days a week. Must be organized, quick thinker, and can meet deadlines.

Previous fashion closet experience is not required, however highly favored if you have.

Responsibilities
Some duties include the handling of sample trafficking, maintaining steady communication with fashion PRs and showrooms, creating mood boards, preparing for photo shoots, and assisting on photo shoots.

The Mainichi Newspapers (毎日新聞), a Japanese national daily newspaper, is looking to hire an intern to assist operation of its New York bureau.

Intern's duties include research on a wide range of topics, arranging interviews, transcription, tasks relating to office management, and assisting the bureau chief, sportswriter or United Nations correspondent in their duties as needed.

Intern would be expected in our Midtown East bureau 2 times a week from 10am to 6pm with a one hour lunch break. Internship is unpaid; Cost of transportation and lunch will be reimbursed.
