Intern's duties include research on a wide range of topics, arranging interviews, transcription, tasks relating to office management, and assisting the bureau chief, sportswriter or United Nations correspondent in their duties as needed. Intern will be expected in our Midtown East bureau 2 to 3 days a week from 10am to 6pm with a one hour lunch break. Internship is unpaid, but there is a stipend for transportation and lunch provided and high possibility for paid work in the future.

Creative Media journalist
Requirements : We currently need interns for our new initiative related to creative journalism.
Responsibilities: You will be assigned a weekly task which is related with student and youth political leadership. This is a creative and social media oriented initiative. This will be an independent responsibility with a provided guideline. However, no decision will be finalized with out the approval of the Council. Helen Whitney Productions has an opening for a summer research intern. This is a great opportunity to contribute to research and reporting on a documentary by an acclaimed PBS filmmaker. Fourth-year and graduate-level journalism students are encouraged to apply.
