Job Description

Demograf, a New York based digital media startup, is looking for a visual editor with a strong aesthetic point of view to create a distinct visual identity for our new publication.

The visual editor will be responsible for making our content look good and helping to inform our readers through everything from art direction to creating infographics to selecting stock photographs.

Qualifications include:
-2+ years professional design/graphics experience in an editorial or digital media environment
-Proficiency in all industry-standard design applications: Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator
-Experience with web and mobile design
-Ability to work independently, communicate your ideas clearly, produce compelling graphics, meet daily deadlines, and create and maintain a unique visual style for our publication
