Job Description

ABC News has an exciting freelancing opportunity for journalism, international studies, and language students.

We are looking for an applicant who speaks fluent Malay to do some translation and subtitling work for ABC News' investigative reporting team on a project basis.

This is for an investigative documentary that will appear on ABC News platforms. This doc is a folo to our DuPoint-winning piece from last year.

Students who speak Malay as their first language preferred.

Pay rate: $20-$30 hourly
