Company Description

Arena Physica is on a mission to accelerate hardware innovation that powers human progress. Our name is inspired by Theodore Roosevelt's 'Citizenship in a Republic' speech. Our team of 50 combines AI engineering and applied physics expertise with deep experience in enterprise deployments. We're headquartered in NYC with presences in San Francisco and Los Angeles, backed by ~$90M from Initialized, Founders Fund, Goldcrest Capital, Fifth Down Capital, and Shield Capital.

If you're ready to do the most important work of your career, join us in the Arena.

Job Description

Explaining hard technical ideas is becoming a lost art. This fellowship supports the next generation of researchers and science writers with access to funding, frontier ideas, and the inner workings of a dynamic AI startup.

As an Arena Physica fellow, you will embed in-person at our NYC office with our Research and Agent teams, dig into topics across physics and the EM spectrum, build beautiful interactive visuals, and author deep dives that make these topics understandable. This explainer on Smith's chart is a good example on the quality of work we are looking for: https://www.arenaphysica.com/publications/smith-charts.

Everything you write will be published under your own byline on Arena Physica's blog. You will leave this fellowship with a portfolio of technical explanatory writing.

Pay: $2,400 per month
