Media Organization: Field & Stream magazine/Bonnier Corporation
Company Description
Field & Stream is the world's leading outdoor sports magazine. Founded in 1895, the magazine strives to capture the excitement of the outdoors, to be a reliable source of how-to information, and to promote conservation and sporting ethics. Job Description
Field & Stream is looking for students to join our editorial department as interns during the spring semester. Responsibilities will include fact-checking, research, and assisting editors with projects as they come up--but it's all real editorial work. Depending on ability and experience, interns may also have the opportunity to write short bylined pieces for the magazine or website.
Requirements: Must be energetic, organized, responsible, and able to follow direction. Some editing or writing experience is a prerequisite, and an interest in hunting or fishing is a plus. Interns must be available for a minimum of two days per week, from 9 am to 5 pm.
Note: You must receive undergraduate or graduate credit for the internship. This position is unpaid. However, we will supply interns with Metrocards.
