Job Description

American Metal Market is seeking a full-time summer intern to assist its editorial staff with the publication of its online daily live news service as well as a monthly print publication.

The ideal candidate should possess a clear, concise writing style, a keen willingness to learn new business concepts and an enthusiasm to tackle coverage of opaque markets.

Experience with commodity markets is not required, but past internships at a business publication are preferred.

Responsibilities include reporting and writing short news articles and longer pieces for the monthly edition.

This is a paid position that offers the chance for real reporting experience and the opportunity to build an extensive portfolio of clips.
