Job Description

The NYDailyNews.com is looking for interns to join our video department. Applicants will be
journalism, film, or mass communications majors or graduate students seeking experience in a fast-paced, breaking news environment.

You are:
-Curious, creative and eager to explore digital journalism and build your portfolio
-Meticulous, independent and deadline driven
-Can interview, shoot, and edit
-Proficient in Final Cut Pro
-Web-savvy and a newshound

You will:
-Experience shooting and editing for same day turnaround
-Cover all the boroughs of New York City and stories with a wide range of subjects including
feature, politics, breaking news, sports, and celebrities with the opportunity to pitch and cover
your own stories and independent projects

Logistics/ Requirements:
- Internship is for course credit
- Daily lunch / commuting stipend offered
- Minimum of 10 hours per week required; no maximum
- Must be flexible for night and weekend shifts
- Journalism, Film or Communications major required
