Job Description

Popular Mechanics is looking to bring on enthusiastic interns for the Summer semester. One of the country’s leading science and technology magazines, PM reaches 1.2 million subscribers, an established online community and growing iPad and Android app audiences. The ideal candidate has experience in journalism and interest in some (or all) of the topics we cover—science, technology, entertainment, home, automotive and adventure.

Interns at Popular Mechanics write, work with editors on projects, correspond with readers, help coordinate photo shoots and handle various tasks around the office.

The Summer 2013 internship begins at PM’s NYC office in May and runs through August. Interns should be able to dedicate at least 15-20 hours a week and MUST be able to receive college credit.
