Job Description

SAVEUR DIGITAL EDITORIAL INTERNS
SAVEUR is looking for Digital Editorial Interns for September-December 2013. Interns become intimate with all aspects of web production and content development. Interns should have an inherent understanding of blogs and content websites, and the role they play in people's lives through both desktop and mobile channels. An interest in food, cooking, and travel is a must.

RESPONSIBILITIES
Write and edit digital editorial content
Produce articles, recipes, and recipe collections
Crop and edit photos and produce photo galleries
Brainstorm compelling seasonal content
Research and compile product and recipe roundups
Write and edit content for syndications and partnerships
Craft compelling, engaging content for Saveur's various social media outlets

QUALIFICATIONS
Knowledge of and passion for food and cooking
Prior knowledge of basic HTML/website backends
Love for online content, blogging, and the digital sphere
Top-notch writing and editing skills
Comfort with Photoshop
Must be available three full days/week to work in our Midtown Manhattan office

Video and photo skills are a big plus. This internship is unpaid.
All SAVEUR interns have the opportunity to connect with well-known people in the culinary world, as well as to attend parties, tastings, and events.
