Job Description

Rodale is currently accepting resumes for the 2013 Fall Internship Program. These paid internships are open to students eligible for academic credit or are enrolled as a full time student at an accredited college or university. The ideal candidate will have a strong academic record, previous intern experience and an interest in the chosen area of the business. Internships are based in the Company's New York City locations.

We are currently seeking Digital Editorial Interns to work on our branded sites. The responsibilities will include assisting in research and fact-checking digital articles and features, uploading stories from the magazines and drafting promotional copy for site category and topic pages. You might also assist in video production and in the creation of slideshows. Proofreading, mailings and other administrative tasks may be included as well.

We are seeking students who are working towards a degree in Journalism or Digital Media. Knowledge of MS Office, HTML, CMA, Dreamweaver and Vignette is preferred. Knowledge of AP Style and attention to detail is required. The ideal candidate should be enthusiastic and have the ability to juggle multiple projects under tight deadlines. We are looking for someone that is proactive and takes initiative on problem-solving issues. This person should be highly organized, detail-oriented, an excellent communicator and team player.
