Job Description

ElderBranch seeks a creative part-time content writer to research and write articles on various issues impacting seniors. The content writing role would include various aspects of the editorial process from prospecting for new article ideas, to conducting interviews with various health and policy experts, to writing articles incorporating those interviews and other primary research.

Beyond content creation, the role requires aspects of web marketing such as optimizing the written content for online effectiveness in search rankings and traffic and interfacing with public relations and other outlets to maximize content value.

The ideal candidate for this position should have an ability to synthesize academic research and translate that content into copy that is clear and concise for the average reader. Additionally, the candidate should be comfortable interviewing experts such as academic researchers, healthcare practitioners and policy makers across various levels of government.
