•Know your way around a CMS; Bonus points for those who’ve mastered Photoshop and basic HTML
•Have experience with photo editing/pairing (preferred)

•Thrive in a fast-paced, ever changing environment and prioritize in real time
•Have superior news judgment and writing skills
•Are organized, meticulous with details, and a multitasking master!

Job Description
AOL is seeking 10 immediately available digital-media obsessed, web-savvy, and editorially minded post-graduates for our inaugural AOL.com Page Program. In this 6 month program you’ll work alongside a talented team of industry innovators to connect with an audience of 8.7 Million daily visitors. You’ll get a 360 view of how the web works—from managing an editorial calendar, to building audiences, to learning the ins and outs of advertising and revenue.
Responsibilities include:
•Partner with AOL.com Programmers & Editors:
oResearch topics based on editorial calendar
oPitch ideas in editorial and planning meetings
•Identify and research breaking news stories and viral content
•Competitive research and analysis on our performance and our competition
•Assist with cross-platform social media strategy
•Partner with AOL On programmers to help curate the best videos for the web
•Partner with Editors/programmers across AOL’s brand portfolio: StyleList, Kitchen Daily, Makers, Moviefone, Engadget, TechCrunch, The Huffington Post, Daily Finance, Patch etc.
•Adhoc administrative tasks and projects to support daily newsroom operations of AOL.com
