Job Description

Reactions, the leading financial intelligence for the global insurance market, is looking for an Americas Editor to provide premium content across the suite of products. Based in New York, this is a senior role with a wide range of responsibilities ranging from sourcing and writing premium off diary content, working with data and analyzing data content and industry reports, managing a South America based contributor, working closely with the commercial teams to provide relevant content support for both subscription and advertising/sponsorship growth and representing the brand by providing high level speaking roles at industry events and acting as an ambassador for the business throughout the Americas region.

The Americas Editor will report to the London based Editor and will also be expected to work closely with management to identify business development opportunities via new content channels that represent premium subscription opportunities and potential profit enhancing acquisitions.

Candidates will be required to have a proven track record as either a senior journalist or analyst working within the financial sector. They will be required to be familiar with data and have first class editorial standards with an analytical and opinion based approach to the provision of premium and data orientated online content. They will also need to possess a sound understand of premium subscription businesses.
