Job Description

Time Out New York is looking for an editorial intern for the features department. As an editorial intern, you must be dedicated, knowledgeable, and able to commit to working at least two days a week through early to mid–May. This is a fast paced, deadline-driven environment; candidates must be self-motivated and able to dive into projects with confidence. Candidates must be able to communicate with sources and PR contacts with confidence and professionalism.

Interns at TONY can expect to have the following duties:
º Fact check feature articles
º Conduct research for feature articles
º Establish relationships with editors in sections of interest (generate intern-specific tasks)
º Transcribe interviews
º Pitch ideas
º Report and write for features as needed
º Research and write blog posts as needed

Please note: Interns must be enrolled at an accredited college or university, and the internship must be completed for academic credit.
