Job Description

Does the idea of working with—and writing about—the latest consumer-technology products before they hit store shelves excite you? Is tinkering with gadgets your passion? Computer Shopper (www.computershopper.com), a leading online guide to PC and consumer tech, is looking for an Editorial Intern for Fall 2014. We’re based in mid-Manhattan and have a 35-year legacy (first in print, now exclusively online) of providing deep buying advice and detailed reviews of the latest computer and consumer technology products.

Our interns work in close concert with our editors. They will be expected to aid in tech-product testing (according to established scripts and guidelines) and content production. The right candidate will also have the opportunity to accumulate digital clips by writing product reviews and contributing to feature stories on ComputerShopper.com. Previous interns have moved ahead to become freelance tech writers, and many have landed jobs in digital journalism as a direct result of the skills they acquired with us.

To Apply

Email john.burek@computershopper.com with a copy of your resume/C.V., as well as a covering note explaining why you'd be the perfect intern for us. No calls, please.
