Job Description

We are seeking an individual who can cover a wide range of news topics and is eager to learn our unique workflow for developing stories, not articles, over time. Ideal candidates have experience working on deadline writing for a daily newsroom. Our writers are expected to write clearly and concisely, in a crisp, fact-focused manner intended to give busy readers key information in an economy of words. This is a contract job based in our NY office paid at an hourly rate, with the potential to become a full-time position.
