Media Organization: Royal Media
Royal Media is a leading trade media company that delivers information through the web, print periodicals, electronic newsletters, conferences and custom products.
The company was formed in 1995 to provide specialized information and insights to executives. The aim at Royal Media is to do excellent work and deliver superlative, intelligent content. We try at every opportunity to apply this dictum. We also try to continuously and communally learn and grow.
The company, which operates from headquarters in New York and from an office in Seattle, focuses its efforts on print and electronic publishing, market research and conference production on behalf of our thousands of client-companies in several important industries, such as financial services and aviation. Royal Media has won several awards for its work.
For these valued customers, we aim to continuously provide profound ideas and analysis that betters their understanding of their worlds and careers. We are constantly seeking out new business communities to understand and serve, and grow through the organic expansion of our activities, as well as through acquisition, such as our acquisition of Air Cargo Management Group (www.acmg.aero) in 2010 and Air Cargo World in 2014.
Royal Media, a New York-based information company, is seeking an enthusiastic, bright and ambitious Senior Editor to join its staff.
As a Senior Editor with Royal Media, you will help shape the media we produce, from print to blogs and social networks to industry events. You will be expected to guide our news coverage, report and write news, features and blogs, edit, and engage with our community online. Perhaps most uniquely, you will have a voice in the future direction that we take.
We expect much from our small, but talented editorial team. Our staff members uncover the latest news; we don’t sit back and wait for it to find us. We have a deep understanding of the markets we cover. We also are very hands on, with our editors tasked with managing not just the content of our media assets, but their operations.
To join our team, you should have at least four years of journalism experience and knowledge of business and financial markets. We expect the successful candidate to have strong reporting, digital media, and social media skills, as well as the ability to lead.
At Royal Media, we offer a competitive salary; a robust benefits package; the chance to travel to places as far away as Hong Kong; and a profound opportunity for personal and professional growth.
RMG is an equal opportunity employer, M/F/D/V
