Launched in March 2006, Hearst Digital Media, a unit of Hearst Magazines, is dedicated to creating and implementing the digital strategy for Hearst’s magazine brands and other sites, which serve the company’s consumer audience. The unit oversees more than 20 websites for brands such as Cosmopolitan, ELLE, Esquire, Good Housekeeping, Marie Claire, Popular Mechanics, Road & Track and Seventeen, as well as digital-only sites such as Delish.com.

Job Description

The Country Living web editorial team is looking for an intern for the fall 2015 semester. Our hands-on editorial intern will assist with day-to-day editorial research, brainstorming and pitching story ideas, writing and reporting, publishing stories in our content management system, and helping to manage our social media accounts. The candidate must love home decorating, food, and crafting, as well as be a fast-learner and a great writer with excellent grammar skills. Prior web experience a plus! Candidates must commit to 2 full work days per week. This is an unpaid internship, with the change for paid future assignments. You also MUST receive school credit. Start and end dates negotiable, but September through December is ideal. Interns will be offered a paid assignment by the end of the internship.
