Job Description

The Wall Street Journal in Asia is seeking undergraduate and graduate students who intend to pursue a career in journalism. This is a full-time, paid, 10-week summer internship. It cannot be completed while taking classes. The summer internships generally take place over June, July and August, though start dates can be flexible in certain circumstances.

The application should include a cover letter, resume and up to six published samples of your work (written and/or multi-media, though not self-published).

We are looking for one intern who will work in the Hong Kong office or another bureau in Asia. Our selection process is competitive and rigorous. We will only contact those applicants who pass initial screenings and who we wish to invite for interview. We will focus heavily on newsgathering, reporting and editing skills across print and online platforms.
