Media Organization: Woman's Day magazine
Woman’s Day is an indispensable resource to 20 million women. The brand speaks to our reader’s values and empowers her with smart solutions in fives core areas—health, home, food, style and money—while celebrating her connections with family, friends and community. Whether in–book, online or through social media outlets, WD provides inspiring (and affordable!) ideas on how to lead a vibrant, healthy and fulfilling life.
Woman’s Day is looking for a spring intern to join the magazine's home department.
This intern will work closely with WD's home editors to research and develop decorating and DIY ideas for Home section columns and features. He or she will also have the opportunity to attend pitch meetings, press events, and photo and video shoots. Additionally, this intern will manage samples and credit sheets as needed for the department.
Ideal candidates will be passionate about magazine production, working towards a degree in journalism or communications, and describe themselves as extremely organized, creative, self-motivated and quick-thinking.
Intern MUST receive college credit. Previous relevant internship experience is a plus, but not required.
Email your cover letter, resume and any relevant clips to firstname.lastname@example.org with “WD Spring Home Internship" in the subject line. Please also indicate what days of the week you are available. Woman's Day will reach out to finalists to schedule an interview.
