Media Organization: Woman's Day magazine
Woman’s Day is an indispensable resource to 20 million women. The brand speaks to our reader’s values and focuses on what’s important. We empower her with smart solutions for her core concerns—health, home, food, style and money, and celebrate the connection she cherishes with family, friends and community. Whether in-book, online, mobile or through social outlets, we provide inspiring insight and fresh ideas on how to get the most of everything.
Woman’s Day gives our loyal audience the actionable tools and relatable inspiration she needs to lead a vibrant, healthy and satisfying life.
Woman’s Day is searching for an enthusiasticeditorial intern to join its features department this spring. We are looking for a student working towards a degree in journalism or English. Ideal candidates will be organized, creative, self-motivated, and passionate about women's lifestyle content.
The intern will work closely with our features team to research and brainstorm ideas for front-of-book pages and articles on personal finance, pets, family life, women making a difference in their communities, and more.
The intern will also handle reader mail, call in samples and photos, transcribe interviews, read for the Book Club page, and assist around the office when needed.
Previous relevant internship experience is preferred, but not required.
Email your cover letter, resume and any relevant clips to Julia Fawal (firstname.lastname@example.org). Please also indicate what days of the week you are available. Intern MUST receive college credit. Woman's Day will reach out to finalists to schedule interviews.
