Full-time Reporter wanted to cover Lower Manhattan for the city's largest community newspaper publisher.
Want to cover the most exciting part of greatest city in the world? NYC Community Media is looking for an aggressive, inquisitive reporter to cover neighborhoods south of 23rd Street for its Lower Manhattan papers. The focus of the beat is the Downtown area, including Tribeca, the Financial District, and Battery Park City, with regular forays into Greenwich Village, the East Village, Soho, the Lower East Side, Chelsea, and beyond.
A successful candidate should be prepared to develop sources and break news in addition to covering civic meetings and developing enterprise stories.
