PRODUCER

OPENING DATE: December 6, 2015

CLOSING DATE: Until filled

QUALIFICATIONS:

University / College degree in journalism or communications. Successful completion of a broadcast internship or equivalent. Strong writing and editing skills. Experience with non-linear editing. Sound news judgment. Ability to organize and prioritize work activities and tasks handling multiple assignments, while meeting tight deadlines in an environment subject to constant change and interruptions. Outstanding interpersonal skills; a team player.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

This position is primarily responsible for the integration of newsroom generated and community contributed content across multiple distribution platforms, including NewsWatch 12's main channel newscasts as well as social media, web and mobile platforms.

TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT

This is a full-time, hourly position.

A PRE-EMPLOYMENT DRUG SCREEN IS REQUIRED
