Company Description

Manhattan magazine, Modern Luxury's lifestyle publication serving NYC, seeks editorial interns for the spring term.

Interns will also work on national and local content for ML's various websites. Applicants should have a passion for editorial work and topics like wellness, food, the arts, culture, design, society and fashion. We are a small and fast-paced staff, and this is not a coffee-fetching, copy-making internship.

Our interns do story and photo research, transcribe interviews, fact check, oversee a few administrative duties and have writing opportunities to build a portfolio of published clips.

Previous internship experience is optimal. Organizational skills and resourcefulness are required. Interns must be available two full days per week (10-4).

The internship is unpaid, and college credit must be received.

Job Description

Will work on national and local content for different websites with Manhattan Magazine. Will also work on topics such as wellness, food, the arts, culture, design, and fashion. With some story and photo research, fact-checking and transcribing emails should overtime lead to a portfolio of published clips.
