Law&Crime Productions is the long form unit of the Dan Abrams Law&Crime Trial Network which specializes in live trial coverage , legal news and investigative reporting.

This documentary series is being developed and produced by Emmy and Peabody award winning journalists Brian Ross and Rhonda Schwartz who produce a weekly investigative news show "Brian Ross Investigates" for the Law&Crime Network, as well as various documentary series in partnership with A&E, Hulu, HBO, Tegna Broadcast Stations and more.

Job Description

Associate Producer for Law&Crime Network Productions Documentary Team

We’re looking for a full time Associate Producer to join Emmy award winning investigative journalists Brian Ross and Rhonda Schwartz in the production of a new ten-hour documentary series for the Law&Crime Network. We’re looking for AP candidates with a journalism background, who have strong reporting, producing and writing skills, interested in pursuing a career in long form documentary production. The AP’s role will include assisting producers with story development and research, archival document and photo/video research, producing transcripts, obtaining video/photo rights and clearances and general documentary production work as needed. The Law&Crime network is based in Manhattan but we will consider a remote work arrangement for the right candidate. Previous experience on a documentary production unit or graduate journalism or filmmaking degree preferred. Recent graduate students who can provide strong references will be considered. Salary commensurate with experience.
