Job Description

Field Producer for Law&Crime Network Productions Documentary Team

We’re looking for an Field Producer to join Emmy award winning investigative journalists Brian Ross and Rhonda Schwartz in the production of a new ten-hour documentary series for the Law&Crime Network. We’re looking for candidates with a strong journalism background, with prior experience in reporting, producing and writing long form news stories and documentaries. This producer’s role includes story development and research, booking interviews, and extensive archival research from court records to photo and video research. The Field Producer will work closely with a dynamic team of senior producers, video editors and graphic artists in all phases of the production. The documentary unit is based in Manhattan but we will consider a remote arrangement for the right candidate. Previous experience on a documentary production unit or graduate level journalism or filmmaking degrees required. Salary commensurate with experience.
