Journalism Internship

Media Organization:Trill Mag

Company Description

Trill Mag is a news, culture, and entertainment website aimed at delivering original content to a Gen Z audience.

Job Description

Love to write? Want an internship with a worldwide media publication? Want to write fully remote on your own time and from wherever you want?

Do something different this summer and beyond…

Become an intern for the Gen-Z news, entertainment and pop-culture website Trill Mag.

We're looking for passionate, talented people who like to create content around stories and issues that are important to our young audience, to join our team.

If you feel like you have your finger on the pulse of Gen Z’s, are good at finding interesting stories/unique angles, or enjoy finding entertaining content to share with the rest of us - we want to hear from you!

Starting Summer 2023, we’re offering a limited number of spaces on our internship program to students from across the US, UK, and beyond.

We’re looking for writers for our News, Entertainment, Life, Culture desks (plus, aspiring filmmakers, storytellers and, video editors for our brand new Video Desk!) to create unique content for our global audience of over 100,000 monthly readers.

Our internships are remote based (all you need if your laptop), and involves writing one piece of content a week on a day of your choosing. Meaning you fit your work around your life, and not the other way around!

All successful application will have their idea turned into a full piece, and will be given a place on our internship beginning 12th June, 2023.

This is an unpaid internship. There is the possibility of paid writing work with our sister company at the end of this program, for those who show potential. We are also working on a points rewards system for those who decide to extend their internship beyond December into the subsequent academic semester.

What our past interns have to say…
