We are looking for more reporters and journalists to join our news teams. Our contributors work remotely and contribute one story a month to FeliceNews.

Although, FeliceNews is made up of volunteers, we can offer training in new media, including WorldPress, SEO and news reporting as well as reference letters. We’re growing fast and currently re-launching the website. We’re consistently becoming better. Long-term journalists will get press credentials for smaller events.

Editorial Intern

Editorialist is looking for two online editorial contributors for the spring term who have a strong writing background and a passion for fashion, style, and luxury accessories. As part of an exciting start-up, this position will provide a great deal of hands on experience and writing opportunities. Responsibilities include writing product descriptions and heds and desk for fashion features, blogging fashion news posts, assisting the Features Director with research and maintaining social media accounts, and contributing pitches to editorial meetings.

Journalism Intern

Stage Directors and Choreographers Society (SDC), the national theatrical labor union located in New York City, is seeking contributors to assist with the new quarterly publication, SDC Journal, a magazine dedicated to exploring the craft of stage direction and choreography. The contributors will assist will all aspects of the publication’s administration and production including but not limited to: copy writing, editing and proofreading; transcribing interviews; contacting photographers and collecting artwork; data entry and upkeep of subscriber and mailing lists; assistance with advertising initiative; assistance with general organization for Publications Office.

Candidate MUST be a strong writer with excellent communication and proofreading skills.

Hours are flexible and can vary between 10-15 hours per week. This position is unpaid; a $60 Metro card will be provided for each month of the internship.

Journalism and Communication majors are strongly encouraged to apply. Interest and knowledge of performing arts, specifically theater, a plus.

Editorial Intern

Wolfgang’s Vault is looking for Editorial Interns in New York for our Concert Vault website. Concert Vault is the largest collection of live music recordings on the internet, spanning more than six decades of popular music. The site publishes music and pop culture features related to our vast archive of multimedia content.

Interns will have a wide range of responsibilities and training opportunities, including news monitoring, feature writing, web content production and social media management.
