CW Publishing Group is looking for an editorial intern to help with research, website updates, proofing and social media, two days a week during the summer.

The internship may include work on You & Your Family (For Expectant Parents), Ready, Set, Grow (Raising Healthy Kids), NAACP Image Awards and Take Charge (Living With, Preventing and Stopping Diabetes.

Interns will be expected to manage social media and update Facebook, Twitter and You Tube frequently. He or she might also have the opportunity to add articles to youandyourfamily.com and the print version.

Beauty Intern

Town & Country is seeking a hard working, meticulous intern to directly assist the beauty and health department, beginning in early June. We are looking for interns who can work at least 3 days a week.

Candidate must be a quick study, ambitious, pro-active, organized, prompt, curious of mind, and possess a positive attitude. Tasks will include assisting editors with articles, writing web stories, transcribing, administration, organizing the beauty closet, and participation in meetings.

This is a FOR CREDIT internship only. Interns must be available to start in late May or early June and work through the summer.

What you’ll be doing
You will be working with our talented editorial team, joining our creative process and helping us innovate new and exciting ways to tell stories on the web. Regular duties include graphic and visual design, conceptualizing and building interactive graphics. All internships are paid and start/stop dates are flexible.

Who we’re looking for
We are looking for a smart and ambitious student who is passionate about innovative ways to tell stories on the web. He or she should have a strong technical skill set and be comfortable working with data and coding interactive graphics. The ideal candidate will have relevant past internship experience and a record of exceptional coursework.

Editorial Internship

Ideal candidates are energetic, creative and crave a fast-paced environment. Our program will have interns writing and creating content on day 1. This is a fantastic opportunity to work side by side with the editors and content marketers at our New York headquarters, as well as collaborate with Scout's vast network of writers and publishers throughout the country.

American Theatre Magazine Intern

American Theatre Magazine Intern
Intern will work closely with the staff of the magazine, assisting with a variety of editorial tasks such as fact checking, proofreading, photo research and story planning, with the possibility of some writing assignments. Candidates must have strong journalism skills and should submit a writing sample when applying. Intern may also work with the book program, assisting in editorial duties.

Features Intern

Interns will get hands-on experience writing their own stories, with bylines in print and online, as well as certain administrative tasks such as transcribing interviews. We'll help you hone your interview skills, write stories that are engaging and seek out new angles. We're a highly collaborative newsroom, so bring your ideas for all features content, from wellbeing to personal finance to home and dating.

Summer Internship

Intern's duties include research on a wide range of topics, arranging interviews, transcription, tasks relating to office management, and assisting the bureau chief, sportswriter or United Nations correspondent in their duties as needed. Intern will be expected in our Midtown East bureau twice a week from 10am to 6pm with a one hour lunch break. Internship is unpaid; Cost of transportation and lunch will be reimbursed.

Summer Web Internship

Interns will be responsible for working closely with the Online Editors to help maintain the Interview site, www.interviewmagazine.com. Interns will gain experience with all aspects of running a website and the ever-evolving world of online media. Duties will include: transcribing the interviews that appear on the site, building slideshows and uploading photos, pitching and researching story ideas, and some blogging. There is a strong mentorship component to the internship, with constant feedback provided on writing and pitches.

Academic credit is required and interns must be able to work 16 hours per week.

Summer Editorial Internship

GoodHousekeeping.com is looking for editorial interns for Summer 2015. Join our small-but-fun team to help write, build and edit daily articles for the web, pitch ideas for various sections (home, health, beauty and more!), cover events, help with social media, and so much more. Credit required.

Summer Editorial Internship

Psychology Today has an excellent opportunity for a few smart and talented editorial interns at our office in New York. We are a small staff, so you’ll be a key member of the team. Interns pitch story ideas and write short articles for the magazine and the staff blog. They typically receive a byline each issue. Other duties include working closely with editors on story research and special projects, proofing print and online copy, helping to manage content on our website and blog network, and occasional transcription and light clerical work.

Journalism experience and an interest in human behavior required. Background in psychology and/or experience writing science stories not mandatory, but a major plus. Must be able to juggle several tasks at once and work autonomously.

Position runs May through August, at least 15 hours a week. Includes a small daily stipend and reimbursement for commuting costs.
