Overall Responsibilities:
Work with the social media team to creatively concept, build, and measure social marketing campaigns.
Manage day-to-day campaign deliverables
Creation of social media photo briefs, content calendars and scheduling for campaigns.
Assist with production team on photoshoots - creative direction and art direction.
Identify best in class social strategies, trends, and practices to develop innovative social campaigns using social advocates and influencers.
Work closely with our social analytics team and agency to produce social campaign reports and pull out learnings and highlights for leadership.
Assist with event activation on the ground at branded events and sponsorships.
Manage influencer/advocate integration into social media campaigns.
Lead creative direction and strategy for social media clients.
Communication with client - day to day emails and management.

Senior Development Writer

We have an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Senior Development Writer.

Position Summary:

The Senior Development Writer in the NYU Langone Medical Center Office of Development will be responsible for working closely with the Donor Engagement and Communications (DEC) team in the development of communications creative assets across 2-3 Gift Officer portfolios. This individual will develop targeted creative editorial strategies and produce highly-compelling and persuasive copy for high-level fundraising needs, including but not limited to major and principal gift proposals, faculty presentations, event remarks, campaign materials and web copy.

Job Responsibilities:
•Crafts and edits major and principal gift proposals, presentations and reports, working with leadership to shape a powerful solicitation tailored to the target donor or prospect
•Leads efforts to develop a consistent structure for all development proposals and reports. Ensures a consistent look, feel and voice for the NYULMC development brand that is aligned with the NYULMC master brand
•Interviews and solicits info from a wide variety of experts as necessary, including but not limited to: clinicians, researchers, departmental leadership, grateful patients
•Synthesizes both complex medical/technical information and lengthy programmatic descriptions into coherent and accessible language that inspires
•Collaborates with DEC teams to provide creative, strategically sound solutions and helps identify gaps in terms of fundraising strategy prior to beginning the writing process and engage Gift Officers to close those gaps
•Drives innovation around donor engagement and experience including all types of communications e.g., social Ice Bucket Challenge to event Speed Dating for Prospects/Suspects

Minimum Qualifications:
•Must have a Bachelors Degree in Communications, English, Advertising, Marketing or other related field.
•8-10 years of professional writing experience.
•Working within a non-profit, fundraising or creative environment such as an advertising agency or in-house agency is a plus.
•Experience in health & wellness or a passion for the space preferred.
•Demonstrated ability to write prose that clearly accomplishes its objectives, and is motivating and inspiring.
•Excellent organizational skills and impeccable attention to detail.

Multimedia Videographer Intern

Looking for videographer/Multimedia specialist to serve as an intern and document a runner’s experience training for the 2017 Boston Marathon.
Shoot, edit and upload weekly films to website for 16 weeks of marathon training and gym workouts.
The videographer must be able to attend running workouts gym workouts, physical therapy appointments, and follow the runner through prepping for the race.
All filming will take place in Manhattan in Central Park, indoor gym, and indoor Armory track. About 20 hours a week will be required. Saturday mornings, one night a week but most day time shooting will be needed. Editing the footage in an organized and timely matter is important. $10 dollars an hour, unlimited monthly metro card, and food allowance will be given. $100 dollar bonus will be given at completion of project.

We're looking for freelance copy-writing support for our e-commerce business, in the way of written text copy. The content will be used in a variety of ways, but for the most part it's to fuel online publishing.

Video Producer / Journalist

The NationSwell Video Producer must be able to fully develop mission-aligned documentary content. This entails preproduction, high-quality shooting and editing and producing stories by coordinating with subjects, freelancers and gathering secondary materials such as images, relevant statistics from reliable sources and music. The video producer will also be actively involved in outreach and distribution by alerting relevant websites to new content, recutting content for Facebook publication and actively looking for and exploiting new distribution channels.

The video producer is also expected to pitch two to three new, mission-aligned and researched story ideas every month.

In addition to editorial work, the video producer will work on sponsored and partnership (branded) content. In executing this work, the video producer will need to seamlessly communicate with sources, corporate social responsibility-office contacts and our own NationSwell partnership team to ensure we are telling high-quality stories that satisfy the objectives of all parties involved.

The ideal applicant is a video journalist that has also successfully completed several branded projects.
