About Internet Week:
Founded in 2008 in cooperation with the New York City Mayor’s Office of Media and Entertainment, IWNY had over 200 events taking place throughout NYC this past year and participation from Google, Buzzfeed, Mashable, General Assembly and others. IWNY is a week-long festival celebrating internet business and culture and will attract more than 45,000 Internet professionals, working across all sectors, attending 250+ events produced by IWNY and 150+ citywide event partners. This year’s IWNY will take place May 19-25, 2014.

Job Description

Internet Week New York (IWNY), the Big Apple’s week-long festival celebrating Internet business, culture and technology, is seeking interns to conduct research and create content leading up to and during the 2014 conference.

This is a unique opportunity to help expand the editorial voice of Internet Week, with the possibility of interviewing some of the brightest minds in NY tech.

This is a hands-on role in a fast-paced environment where you will have the chance to be connected to and cover New York’s tech community.

The Internet Week intern will be assist with a variety of tasks including:

• Speaker and industry research
• Creating content, including profiles, Q&As, news and round-ups
• Newsletter publication
• Social media outreach
