Job Description
Woman’s Day is searching for an enthusiastic fall intern to join its features department. We are looking for a student working towards a degree in journalism or English. Ideal candidates will be organized, creative, self-motivated, and passionate about the magazine.
Intern will work closely with our features team to research and brainstorm ideas for front-of-book pages and articles on personal finance, pets, family life, women making a difference in their communities, and more.
The intern will also handle reader mail, call in samples and photos, transcribe interviews, read for the Book Club page, and assist around the office when needed.
Woman’s Day is one of the oldest women’s service magazines and staying connected with our reader base is very important. Previous relevant internship experience is preferred, but not required.
