Job Description
BBC's Education division in New York is looking for creative interns to assist with producing short form videos for the educational market. Interns will have a unique opportunity to be fully involved in multiple aspects of production including research, editing, rights and clearances, pitching and business development. Interns will have an opportunity to work directly on projects with the education coordinators and production manager. Students curious about British and American factual broadcast history will find this internship particularly interesting. Excel, Outlook, and Final Cut Pro skills are a plus but are not required, however a willing interest to learn and take on new challenges is essential. Scheduling is flexible with a minimum weekly commitment of 10 hours that can broken up across multiple days of the week anytime between 8 am and 8 pm.
